Donate and Become a Sponsor

Thank you for your consideration in making a donation towards the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society’s Wildlife Conservation Camp. Our goal for Wildlife Conservation Camp is to provide a fun experience for young adults to learn about nature, ecology, and wildlife in a healthy, secure setting. Regardless of career interests, campers are encouraged to join in as we explore a “whole-ecology” approach to learning about natural resources!

Our sponsors over the years have contributed to camp by helping to purchase supplies and equipment, fund meals throughout camp, or even send students to camp. No matter the task, by becoming a sponsor, you will ensure that campers have the camp experience of a lifetime. One that instills in them the importance of land stewardship, conserving our natural resources, and provides a familiarity with professionals in the natural resource field. Please consider donating and becoming a sponsor today!

Due to the current COVID-19 situation the Texas Chapter of the Wildlife Society (TCTWS) Board and Wildlife Conservation Camp Committee, based on the guidelines and policies from The Wildlife Society, have decided to cancel the 2020 Wildlife Conservation Camp for the health and wellbeing for all those involved.

We would like to thank all those professional and college mentors, presenters, returning campers, and new campers that have applied and volunteered their time with us already this year in preparing for camp. We hope we can look forward to your applications, presentations, and support next year. Our Camp Director and Committee will be contacting those of you who have applied and or donated to camp to discuss how we will proceed moving forward. Camp will be held at the Rob and Bessie Welder Wildlife Foundation, July 11–17, 2021, and be directed by Angie Arredondo.

Our Camp Committee and the Board will continue to work tirelessly to ensure a fun, safe, and educational camp for all participating next year! Please continue to check our website and our Facebook page for more updates and great resources for students to access until we can all meet again for a fantastic camp in 2021.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Camp Director anytime. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter, and we wish you and your families are safe and healthy during this time.

Thank you,
Wildlife Conservation Camp Committee & TCTWS President
